Scan Souvenirs processes your data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP). This page explains, in plain language, which data is processed when you contact us, for what purpose and for how long.

1. Data controller

The controller is the operator of Scan Souvenirs (Geneva). Contact: contact@scan-souvenirs.ch.

2. Which data is processed

When you fill in the quote request form, the following is processed:

  • your email address, essential for us to reply to you;
  • your phone number, if you provide it (optional);
  • the approximate number of documents and the content of your message.

In addition, technical data is automatically recorded in our server logs (IP address, date, pages visited, browser), for security and statistical purposes.

3. What this data is used for

  • Replying to your request for a quote or information;
  • Protecting the service against spam and abuse;
  • Producing aggregated traffic statistics (with anonymised IP addresses).

4. Legal basis

Processing is based on your consent (voluntarily submitting the form) and on the operator's legitimate interest in providing and protecting the service.

5. Retention and recipients

Your request is sent to us by email and stays in the operator's mailbox for as long as needed to follow up, then is deleted. Server logs are kept for a maximum of 30 days. No data is passed on to third parties for commercial purposes or resold.

6. Cookies and audience measurement

The site uses no tracking cookies or browser-side analytics tools (no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel). Audience measurement is done solely from server logs, with anonymised IP addresses.

7. Your rights

In accordance with the nFADP and the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, delete and object. To exercise it, write to contact@scan-souvenirs.ch. You can also contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

8. Security

The site is served exclusively over HTTPS and hosted in Switzerland. As no measure can guarantee absolute security, we encourage you to share only the information that is necessary.
